About this role
Collaborate with researchers to enhance benchmarks in chemistry, from undergraduate to PhD topics, in a remote work setting.
Expert Review
This remote position with Turing allows PhD-level chemists to collaborate on refining academic benchmarks. The flexibility of working from anywhere is particularly for those balancing other commitments. Yet, without a salary range, potential applicants may hesitate to apply, as compensation transparency is crucial in attracting top talent.
Turing focuses on connecting developers and researchers with global opportunities, which can be a double-edged sword. While it opens up a world of collaboration, it may also mean less oversight and support compared to traditional academic roles. Researchers accustomed to structured environments might find the remote nature challenging.
If you're driven and enjoy self-directed work, this could be a perfect fit. However, those who thrive on direct mentorship and structured feedback may need to consider how well they can adapt to a less conventional working environment. For more details, visit Turing's official job listing.
