What Customers Say
Feedback from Dashers highlights the flexibility and earning potential, but concerns over inconsistent income and support during busy periods are common.
Expert Review
DoorDash's Shopper role is designed for those who value flexibility. With the ability to choose your own hours, it's an appealing option for students or anyone with a busy schedule. However, earnings can vary significantly, especially during off-peak times.
The app interface is user-friendly, allowing Dashers to easily manage deliveries and track earnings. Yet, some users have reported challenges during busy hours, such as difficulty accessing support or experiencing app glitches.
Importantly, while working with DoorDash can be rewarding, it's not a substitute for full-time employment. Many Dashers find that their income fluctuates, making it essential to have a backup plan if relying solely on this role. According to DoorDash, active Dashers can boost earnings, but realistic expectations are crucial.
