While working at Eskom provides job security, the role may not offer significant advancement prospects. It's suitable for individuals seeking stable employment rather than career growth.
About this role
Eskom seeks a reliable General Worker for its Logistics & Warehouse team, assisting with warehouse operations and distribution.
What Customers Say
Employees appreciate the job security but often mention the repetitive nature of the work.
Expert Review
This position with Eskom is a solid entry point into the logistics field, particularly for those new to the workforce. With the company being a key player in South Africa's energy sector, job security is a notable benefit. However, the role involves routine tasks that may not excite everyone.
The physical demands of the job can be challenging, especially in a warehouse environment where lifting and moving goods is common. It's crucial for candidates to assess their comfort level with these responsibilities before applying.
Career growth within Eskom may also be limited in this position. While the company offers stability, those looking for rapid advancement or varied responsibilities might find this role less satisfying. Our team suggests evaluating long-term career goals when considering this opportunity.
