Expert Review
At $17 an hour, the Security Driver role at Allied Universal offers competitive pay for part-time work. This flexibility is perfect for those needing to balance other commitments, such as school or family. The company emphasizes a collaborative work culture, which can enhance job satisfaction.
While the pay is appealing, potential candidates should note that the part-time nature means limited benefits. Employees in similar roles often report a lack of advancement opportunities, for those aiming for a long-term career.
Training is provided, which is a significant plus for entry-level applicants looking to break into the security field. However, the unarmed aspect of the role might necessitate additional certifications for those aspiring to more advanced positions.
