Expert Review
The role at UPS presents a solid opportunity for those entering the logistics workforce. With a starting wage of $21+/hr, it offers a competitive salary, especially for entry-level positions. Workers will engage in unloading and sorting packages, which can be physically demanding.
The company has a reputation for providing hands-on training, suitable choice for individuals looking to develop skills in logistics. However, potential workers should consider the fast-paced nature of the job, which might lead to stress during peak periods.
UPS emphasizes teamwork, which can enhance the work experience. Still, the variable shift schedules may not suit everyone, especially those seeking more predictable hours. Overall, this position is a good fit for individuals who thrive in active, dynamic environments and are ready to embrace the physical demands of the job.
