What Customers Say
Reviews from workers highlight the flexibility of hours but note concerns about variable income and the absence of benefits.
Expert Review
a role with DoorDash, the flexible hours are a major draw, allowing you to work when it suits you best. However, the income can be inconsistent, as it largely depends on delivery demand and customer tips. The onboarding process is notably quick, providing access to work almost immediately after signing up.
While the potential to earn from various delivery types exists, be aware that this is gig work, meaning benefits like health insurance or retirement plans are not included. The company does not guarantee a minimum salary, making it crucial for drivers to manage their finances carefully.
User reviews indicate mixed experiences regarding wait times and customer interactions. Some drivers report long gaps between deliveries, which can impact earnings. If you enjoy being on the road and managing your own time, this could be a great fit, but those needing a stable paycheck should think twice.
