Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening guidelines.Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to shipping, receiving, and distribution areas.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.Access control and badge experience is preferred.X-Ray screening experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
