Expert Review
UPS offers a strong entry-level position with competitive pay starting at $45 per hour. This role involves driving delivery trucks and handling packages, making it suitable for those who enjoy physical work. Applicants should be ready for the demands of loading and unloading packages, which can be strenuous.
Customer service plays a significant role in this position, as drivers interact with residential and commercial clients. The job can be stressful, particularly during peak delivery seasons when time-sensitive deliveries add pressure.
While UPS is a reputable company with opportunities for growth, potential candidates should consider their ability to handle the physicality of the job. The role is not recommended for those who dislike manual labor or have difficulty with physical tasks. For more details, visit UPS's official job page.
