Expert Review
UPS is a major player in the package delivery industry, offering competitive wages starting at $21/hr for Warehouse Workers. This role involves unloading and sorting packages in a fast-paced setting, which can be quite demanding. It's important to be prepared for the physicality of the work, as it requires lifting and moving packages throughout the shift.
Career advancement is a strong point; UPS often promotes from within, allowing dedicated employees to move up the ranks. However, the job's demands can lead to burnout, especially for those not accustomed to such physical labor. Early mornings or late night shifts are common, which may not suit everyone.
According to the job listing on Talent.com, potential applicants should weigh the physical requirements against their personal capabilities.
