Expert Review
This role at Amazon offers an appealing hourly wage of $17-$23, depending on experience and shift. Employees will engage in selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders, which can be physically demanding. The fast-paced environment is not for everyone, especially those who prefer a less active role.
For those who enjoy teamwork and technology, this position comes with the opportunity to use handheld scanners, enhancing your logistical skills. Flexibility in scheduling is a significant perk, catering to various personal commitments.
However, potential candidates should be aware of the physical nature of the job. Long hours on your feet and repetitive tasks are common, which might not suit everyone. Overall, this position provides a solid entry point into the logistics field, especially in a reputable company like Amazon.
