Expert Review
The role of Warehouse Worker/Package Handler at UPS is an entry point into a logistics career. With a starting pay of $21+/hr, it provides competitive compensation for those willing to engage in physically demanding work.
UPS emphasizes a fast-paced environment, which can be exhilarating but also overwhelming for some. The company offers training, ensuring new hires are well-prepared for their duties.
However, potential employees should consider the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and repetitive motions. This might not appeal to everyone, especially those looking for less strenuous work.
while the job offers stability and the chance for advancement, the shifts can be variable. Employees should be ready for the possibility of overtime, which can be both a pro and a con depending on one's schedule.
