The pay range of $19 to $20 per hour is decent for entry-level security roles, especially with benefits included. However, the need for active patrolling may deter those looking for a more sedentary job.
About this role
City Wide Protection Services is hiring unarmed Security Officers for graveyard and swing shifts in San Diego. A CA Guard Card is required.
Expert Review
For those looking to enter the security field, City Wide Protection Services presents a solid opportunity. With a pay range of $19 to $20 per hour, this position offers a competitive entry-level wage. The requirement of a CA Guard Card ensures that candidates are properly certified, which is a plus for those with aspirations in security.
The company emphasizes active patrolling, which means that candidates should be ready for a physically demanding role that does not allow for phone distractions. This may not appeal to everyone, particularly those accustomed to less active work environments.
the role offers benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan. This makes it a more attractive option compared to other entry-level positions that might lack such perks. However, the necessity to work weekends and holidays could be a downside for those seeking a more traditional schedule.
while this position at City Wide Protection Services is great for proactive individuals looking for entry-level security work, it requires commitment and physical activity that may not suit everyone. Interested candidates should apply through the official site for detailed information.
