Expert Review
UPS delivers a strong earning potential, with drivers earning $45 or more per hour. This makes it an attractive option for those prioritizing income. The role is primarily full-time, providing job stability in a fluctuating job market.
However, the job can be physically demanding. Drivers are required to load and unload packages, which can involve lifting items weighing up to 70 pounds. If you’re not comfortable with this kind of work, it may not be the right fit.
while UPS offers career progression opportunities, the long hours can be a downside. Drivers often work late into the evenings, especially during peak seasons. This can lead to burnout if not managed properly.
