Expert Review
FedEx's Package Handler roles in Passaic offer a competitive pay range of $17-$22/hr, which is appealing for entry-level positions. However, the job is quite physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting and quick movements in a busy warehouse setting. Adherence to safety protocols and productivity standards is crucial, which can add pressure to the role.
The company is known for its reputable standing in the logistics industry, but potential employees should be aware that the fast-paced environment may not suit everyone. Our editorial team noted that while there are opportunities for full-time positions, the hours can be non-flexible, making it less ideal for those seeking part-time options.
In terms of career growth, FedEx promotes from within, providing pathways for advancement. However, the high turnover rate in warehouse jobs can lead to a constantly changing team dynamic, which some may find challenging.
