The flexibility of working with DoorDash is a major plus, especially for those needing part-time work. However, inconsistency in income could be a drawback for those relying on steady pay.
About this role
Join DoorDash as a Shopper and earn flexibly by delivering groceries, alcohol, and more, while helping customers get their essentials.
What Customers Say
Workers appreciate the flexibility but often mention the inconsistency in earnings as a notable downside.
Expert Review
This opportunity with DoorDash offers significant flexibility, allowing you to choose when and how much you work. As a Shopper, you can deliver various items, which keeps the job interesting. However, the income can be inconsistent, especially during slow periods.
Our team found that some users report earnings varying widely from week to week.
The DoorDash app is user-friendly, making it easy to manage orders and track deliveries. Yet, it's that while the potential for higher earnings exists, it heavily depends on your activity and market demand. Some Shoppers recommend staying in busy areas during peak hours to maximise earnings.
Customer service experiences can be mixed; some users report quick responses while others find delays in resolving issues. The official DoorDash page states that they continuously work on improving their support. If you're looking for a side gig to fit around your life, this could be a good fit, but it's not suited for those needing a reliable income stream.
