This role is ideal for those seeking flexible work, but the income can vary significantly based on demand and hours worked. It's not suitable for those who need a stable, guaranteed income.
About this role
Join DoorDash as a Shopper to earn flexible income by delivering groceries, alcohol, and more, all on your own schedule.
What Customers Say
Many Shoppers appreciate the flexible hours but express concerns about inconsistent income and the physical demands of the job.
Expert Review
DoorDash provides a user-friendly app for Shoppers, making it easy to accept deliveries and track earnings. The flexibility allows you to work around your lifestyle, which is a plus for many. However, earnings can be unpredictable, especially during quiet periods.
Our research indicates that Shoppers can make between AUD 20 to AUD 30 per hour during peak times, but this can drop significantly during off-peak hours. It's crucial to be strategic about when you work to maximise your income.
Customer service experiences vary; while some Shoppers report positive interactions, others note difficulties in resolving issues. Ensure you have reliable transport, as delivery demands can be high. Overall, it's for those wanting to supplement their income without a rigid schedule.
