Expert Review
The position at UPS offers a starting wage of $21+/hr, which is competitive in the logistics sector. Candidates should be ready for a physically demanding role that involves lifting and moving packages consistently throughout the shift.
Working at UPS means joining a reputable company with a strong commitment to employee development. Opportunities for advancement are available, as many employees progress to full-time roles or management positions.
However, the job does come with its challenges. Shifts can be irregular, and employees may need to work weekends or holidays, making it less suitable for those seeking a traditional work-life balance. The high turnover rate also reflects the demanding nature of the job.
For those looking to enter the logistics field, this role provides a solid foundation with the potential for growth. More details about the application process can be found on UPS’s official page at UPS Careers.
