Expert Review
This position offers a competitive wage compared to similar roles in the retail sector. According to Hobby Lobby's page, the pay range is between $18-$22 per hour, ttractive for entry-level applicants. The job involves direct customer interaction, which can be rewarding for those who enjoy helping others.
However, applicants should consider the limitations of part-time work. While the flexibility can be appealing, it may not provide enough hours or benefits for those seeking a full-time career. The physical demands, like standing for extended periods and handling merchandise, can also be challenging.
Customer service skills will be essential in this job, as associates will assist shoppers with inquiries and purchases. Those who thrive in busy environments will find this role engaging, but it may not suit everyone. If you're looking for a retail job with a decent wage, this could be a fitting opportunity.
