What Customers Say
Employees appreciate the pay and job stability but highlight the physically demanding nature of the work.
Expert Review
The role at UPS is appealing due to the starting pay of $21+/hr, competitive option for entry-level positions. However, candidates should be aware of the physical nature of the work, which involves lifting and sorting packages. This may not be suitable for individuals with physical limitations.
In addition to the pay, UPS offers potential for full-time hours and opportunities for advancement, which can lead to long-term career growth. The environment is fast-paced, requiring workers to adapt quickly and stay organized while handling the flow of packages.
For those entering the workforce or looking to change careers, UPS provides a stable employer known for its logistics services. However, the job's demands may not align with everyone's preferences, particularly for those seeking less physically intensive roles. For more details, visit UPS's careers page here.
