What Customers Say
Workers appreciate the flexibility but often mention the unpredictability of earnings as a significant drawback.
Expert Review
This independent contractor opportunity with Expedite allows drivers to deliver catering orders while enjoying the freedom to choose when and where they work. The pay structure is competitive, but earnings are entirely dependent on order volume and personal availability. Unlike traditional employment, workers face the uncertainty of fluctuating income based on demand.
Drivers should be aware that they operate under a 1099 status, meaning they must manage their own taxes and benefits. This can be a downside for those unfamiliar with self-employment responsibilities. while the company promotes instant payouts, the actual availability of work can vary, leading to potential gaps in income.
Customer service and support may not be as as in traditional employment, making it essential for drivers to be proactive in their approach. Overall, while this opportunity offers flexibility and independence, it may not suit everyone due to its inherent unpredictability. For those looking for a side gig or supplementary income, it could be a good fit, but full-time earners may find it lacking in stability.
