Goodwill's Store Clerk/Cashier position is excellent for those seeking flexible, part-time work in a community-focused environment. However, the pay might not be competitive for more experienced retail workers.
About this role
Goodwill is hiring Store Clerks/Cashiers in Fresno to manage cash registers, assist customers, and handle transactions.
Expert Review
The Goodwill Store Clerk/Cashier role offers an entry point into retail, emphasizing community service over profit. With wages ranging from $14 to $21 per hour, it's appealing for part-time seekers. The flexible hours can help balance other commitments, making it suitable for students or those with family obligations.
While Goodwill is recognized for its charitable mission, potential hires should note that benefits are limited for part-time employees. This can be a drawback for those looking for health insurance or retirement plans. The job may also entail physical demands, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Overall, Goodwill presents a valuable opportunity to gain retail experience while contributing to a meaningful cause. Interested applicants can learn more and apply through Goodwill's page on Talent.com.
