Expert Review
If you’re looking for a flexible job without the need for previous experience, working as a Dasher with DoorDash might be for you. This role allows you to set your own hours and work when it suits you best. Earnings can vary significantly, depending on your location and the time of day you choose to work.
Users report that during peak hours, tips can enhance your overall income.
It's essential to factor in your expenses, as drivers are responsible for their own costs like gas and vehicle maintenance. This can eat into your profits, especially if you're driving a considerable distance for deliveries. According to DoorDash's site, drivers can earn extra during busy periods, but this can be inconsistent.
Customer service experiences can also vary, with some drivers finding support responsive while others report delays. If you're self-motivated and looking for a side hustle, this could be a great fit, but potential drivers should be prepared for the variability in earnings and expenses.
