Expert Review
At Nesco Resource, the Material Handler position is crucial for maintaining order in production and distribution. Individuals in this role help streamline operations by efficiently pulling orders and managing inventory. Forklift operation is a key component, requiring certification and experience for safety and compliance.
The job demands physical stamina due to the lifting and moving of materials, making it suitable for those who enjoy active work. Unlike desk jobs, this role is dynamic, allowing workers to remain engaged throughout their shifts. However, the physical demands can be taxing, and potential candidates should consider their fitness levels.
While there are opportunities for overtime, the job may not be ideal for those seeking a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. The need for forklift certification may also limit applicants who are new to the field. According to Nesco Resource's listing, this role is a stepping stone for those looking to grow within the logistics sector, especially for individuals with prior experience.
