Expert Review
The position at Amazon is a solid entry point for those looking to break into the retail and logistics sectors. With a competitive pay range of $17-$23/hr, employees can expect a decent income while gaining valuable experience.
This role involves selecting and packing customer orders, which means efficiency and attention to detail are crucial. Using handheld scanners to locate items can streamline the process, but it also means adapting quickly to technology.
While the pay is attractive, potential candidates should consider the physically demanding nature of the job. Long hours and repetitive tasks can lead to fatigue, making this role less suitable for those who prefer a more sedentary work environment. According to Amazon's page, career advancement is possible, offering pathways for growth within the company.
Overall, those ready for a fast-paced, physically intense role may find this opportunity rewarding. However, if you prefer less strenuous work, it might be wise to explore other options.
