Expert Review
For drivers holding a CDL Class A or B, this position offers a reliable daytime schedule with consistent hours. Operating a 26ft box truck for food deliveries can be a rewarding experience, particularly for those new to the industry.
However, the $20 hourly pay is on the lower end for delivery drivers in the Houston area, especially considering the cost of living. The job's focus on food deliveries means less physical strain compared to other delivery roles, making it easier for those who may not want to handle heavy loads.
Our editorial team noted that while the position provides a steady income, there are limited growth opportunities within the company. Those seeking advancement or higher pay may need to consider other options. According to the listing, no benefits or overtime pay details are provided, for some candidates.
this is a solid role for entry-level drivers seeking a consistent job in Houston, but may not satisfy those with higher expectations for compensation and career growth.
