Expert Review
This role at Hobby Lobby presents a solid entry point into retail with a pay range of $18 to $22 per hour. The company is well-known for its creative products, great fit for those who enjoy art and crafts. Employees often find satisfaction in engaging with customers and helping them find the right items.
However, potential applicants should consider that the role may involve weekend shifts and busy holiday seasons, which can be demanding. The company's structured schedule might not fit those seeking flexibility.
Customer service is a significant part of this job, and while many enjoy this interaction, it can be challenging for introverts. The official Hobby Lobby site emphasizes a supportive work environment, but it's essential to be prepared for a fast-paced retail atmosphere.
Overall, while the pay is competitive for retail positions, this job may not be suitable for those prioritizing flexible hours or a low-stress environment. More details can be found on the official page.
