The pay range of $18-$25 per hour is appealing, especially for those looking for part-time work. However, income can fluctuate based on demand and hours available.
About this role
Amazon Flex drivers use their own vehicles to deliver packages on scheduled routes, earning between $18-$25 per hour.
What Customers Say
Drivers appreciate the flexible hours but often mention concerns about fluctuating income and vehicle maintenance costs.
Expert Review
This delivery gig offers a strong hourly pay range of $18-$25, but the income is not guaranteed. Demand can vary, impacting how many delivery blocks are available. Drivers must own and maintain their vehicles, which can lead to additional costs.
The Amazon Flex app is user-friendly, streamlining the delivery process. Yet, the nature of gig work means lacking benefits like health insurance or paid time off. According to Amazon's site, drivers can choose their hours, making this a flexible option for many.
However, potential drivers should consider the wear on their vehicles and the uncertainty of available hours. This role is not ideal for those looking for a steady paycheck.
