The pay range of $20-$30 per hour is appealing, especially for those seeking flexible hours. However, the job's physical demands and potential for long hours may not suit everyone.
About this role
FedEx is hiring Delivery Drivers to operate vehicles and deliver packages on assigned routes to residential and commercial customers.
What Customers Say
Workers appreciate the pay and growth opportunities but note the physical demands and intense workload during peak times.
Expert Review
FedEx's SameDay City Courier position is attractive for those seeking a flexible job with decent pay. The pay range of $20-$30 per hour is competitive for delivery roles in California. However, this job does demand a lot physically, as drivers are responsible for loading and unloading packages, which can be strenuous.
Working at FedEx offers a chance to be part of a well-established company, but the job can be unpredictable. Drivers may face long hours and tight schedules, especially during peak delivery times. Our team found that while the pay is decent, the workload can lead to stress.
Customer service and communication within FedEx are generally positive, but the physical demands may not be for everyone. Those who prefer a more sedentary job should consider alternatives. For more details on the application process, visit FedEx's careers page.
