Expert Review
The Cafe Attendant role at Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre offers a unique opportunity for those entering the hospitality industry. With a focus on food preparation and barista duties, it provides valuable skills for future employment.
One of the standout benefits is the free membership to the aquatic centre, allowing employees to maintain a healthy lifestyle while working. This can be for younger workers or fitness enthusiasts.
However, as this is an entry-level position, the pay may not be competitive compared to other hospitality roles. The part-time nature of the job could also restrict income potential, making it less suitable for those needing a full-time salary.
We recommend this position for individuals looking to start their career in hospitality or students seeking flexible work hours. For those wanting higher compensation or advancement opportunities, exploring other options may be wise. More information can be found on the City of Hobart's official page.
