Expert Review
In evaluating the Forklift Driver position at Freightmore, the role demands a valid forklift license and a minimum of five years' experience. This can be a barrier for those new to the industry. The company values reliability, so candidates must be dependable and adaptable.
while experience in the freight industry is advantageous, Freightmore is open to training internal candidates on their systems, such as Freightware. This reflects a commitment to employee development, although it may not fully compensate for a lack of external experience.
The focus on communication skills in both English and Afrikaans indicates a workplace that values clear interaction among team members. This role is recommended for those who excel in a collaborative environment and have a strong attention to detail. For more information about the job, check out Freightmore's official listing here.
