Expert Review
For those eyeing a delivery role, FedEx offers a promising opportunity in Fresno. The pay scale of $20-$30 per hour is competitive, especially for entry-level positions. However, it's essential to understand that the job can be physically taxing, involving lifting and carrying packages throughout the day.
Drivers are expected to handle both residential and commercial deliveries, which adds variety to the work but can also mean navigating through challenging traffic and weather conditions. The role demands excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines effectively.
Customer service skills are equally important, as obtaining signatures and interacting with clients is part of the job. While FedEx is a reputable company, potential drivers should be aware of the variable workload, particularly during peak seasons, which may lead to longer hours than anticipated.
Overall, this position is those looking to work in logistics. However, it may not be suitable for individuals seeking a less physically demanding career. For more details, check FedEx's job listing here.
