Expert Review
Many applicants find UPS an appealing employer due to its competitive pay and benefits package. The starting wage of $21+/hr positions it favorably for entry-level jobs. Training is provided, ccessible for those without experience.
The role demands physical endurance, as workers handle packages throughout their shifts. This can be a challenge, especially during peak times when the volume increases. The environment is fast-paced, which can be stressful for some.
UPS offers career advancement opportunities, which is a significant draw for those looking to build a long-term career in logistics. According to UPS's page, many employees find pathways to promotions within the company.
However, potential applicants should consider their comfort level with manual labor and irregular hours. If you prefer a desk job or less physically demanding work, this role might not be the right fit for you.
