Responsibilities Train and develop new sales assistants, demonstrating excellent customer service techniques and product knowledge. Receive, unpack, and price incoming stock deliveries, checking quantities against delivery notes and reporting discrepancies. Handle customer returns and exchanges professionally, adhering to company policies while maintaining customer satisfaction. Assist customers with product selection by providing knowledgeable advice and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Merchandise stock on shelves and displays according to planograms and visual standards, ensuring shelves are fully faced and tidy. Open and close the store following security procedures including cashing up, locking up, and setting alarms. Requirements A minimum of one to three years of retail experience with proven customer service skills in a store environment. Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, public holidays, and late trading evenings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with customers and team members. For management roles, proven experience in leading a retail team and driving sales to achieve targets.
