What Customers Say
Workers appreciate the pay and flexibility but often mention the physical demands of the job.
Expert Review
Amazon's delivery driver role is appealing due to its competitive pay of $18-$26 per hour. This position often allows for flexible scheduling, which can be attractive for students or those needing part-time work. However, it's essential to recognize that the role is physically demanding, involving loading and unloading packages while navigating your delivery route.
Working with an Amazon Delivery Service Partner comes with benefits, such as driving a company-provided van, which alleviates the need for personal vehicle maintenance. Drivers engage directly with the community, making deliveries to homes and businesses, which can foster a sense of connection.
Despite the advantages, potential drivers should consider the long hours and physical strain involved. Weather conditions can also impact the work environment. Those not prepared for strenuous activity or who prefer a sedentary job may find this role challenging.
