The remote nature of this position is a major advantage for those looking for flexible work. However, the demanding marking schedule from May to July may not suit everyone.
About this role
Pearson seeks a GCE Politics Examiner to mark candidates' responses from home using ePEN during May to July, with training in May and June.
What Customers Say
Feedback from previous examiners highlights the rewarding nature of the role but also notes the high-pressure environment during peak marking times.
Expert Review
The role of Remote Politics Examiner at Pearson offers a unique chance to contribute to the education sector from home. The marking period spans May to July, which can be demanding, requiring candidates to manage their time effectively.
Our team found that the necessity for solid subject knowledge is crucial, as examiners will be assessing diverse candidate responses using ePEN. This digital tool enhances efficiency but also complexity to the marking process.
Although training is provided, examiners should be ready to adapt quickly to Pearson's marking standards. The lack of salary information is a downside, leaving potential candidates in the dark about compensation. Interested applicants can find more details on Pearson's official site.
