About this role
Join US Foods as a Class A Delivery Driver in Canton, NC, starting at $27 per hour. Ideal for those looking to grow in their driving career.
Expert Review
This Class A Delivery Driver position at US Foods offers a promising entry into the transportation sector. The starting pay of $27 per hour is competitive for those new to the field. However, experienced drivers might find the compensation lacking when compared to other roles in the industry.
The job entails standard delivery responsibilities, but specifics on benefits are not detailed, which could impact job satisfaction long-term. It's crucial to inquire about health benefits, retirement plans, and any performance bonuses during the application process.
In terms of work-life balance, the role requires consistent hours with no remote options, making it less flexible for those seeking varied schedules. The company maintains a strong reputation in the food distribution sector, which could be for career advancement.
Overall, while this position is a great starting point for new drivers, we recommend it primarily for those looking to gain experience rather than for seasoned professionals seeking higher pay. For further details, visit US Foods' official page.
