Expert Review
Joining Flight Centre as a Retail Travel Consultant offers a unique opportunity for those passionate about travel. The role demands strong sales abilities and excellent customer service skills, particularly in a busy retail environment. This position is not for the faint-hearted, as the pressure to meet sales targets can be intense, especially in the initial months.
The company provides comprehensive training and support, which is essential for new consultants. Success hinges on one's ability to adapt quickly and engage customers effectively. While the potential for commission-based earnings is attractive, the role requires considerable dedication and resilience.
In our assessment, the dynamic team culture at Flight Centre can be a significant motivator, allowing employees to share experiences and strategies. However, prospective applicants should consider their comfort level with high-pressure sales environments. Those seeking a more relaxed job may want to look elsewhere.
