While suitable for those seeking short-term employment, it's not ideal for those looking for stable, long-term job prospects.
About this role
SelecSource is hiring General Labor Associates for outdoor tent installation at $16 per hour. This role involves setting up and installing event tents.
Expert Review
For those entering the workforce, this role with SelecSource offers an accessible entry point into general labor. The pay of $16 per hour is reasonable for entry-level positions. However, it’s essential to recognize that this is temporary work with no benefits, suitable mainly for those seeking short-term employment.
The job involves setting up tents for events, which means workers should be comfortable with light physical labor in an outdoor environment. While this can be appealing for those who thrive outside, it may not suit everyone. The nature of temporary work also means job security can be a concern, as hours will fluctuate based on demand.
If you're considering this role, remember that while it provides flexibility and the chance to gain experience, it lacks long-term career growth. According to SelecSource's page, this role is part of a larger staffing initiative aimed at filling immediate labor needs in various sectors, which can be a good opportunity for those looking to gain experience quickly.
