What Customers Say
Feedback from past workers highlights a positive work environment but notes the challenges of temporary employment and physical demands.
Expert Review
For those wanting to dive into seasonal work, Mildura Fruit offers a unique opportunity this Navel Season. The roles are primarily focused on packing and forklift operation, giving workers valuable experience in the logistics sector. This position is particularly suited for individuals with forklift certification, which can enhance employability in future roles.
However, as a temporary position, it lacks long-term job security. Workers can expect fluctuating hours, with peak periods requiring significant overtime. This may be appealing for those seeking additional income but could also lead to fatigue and burnout.
Compensation details are not disclosed on the company’s site, which is crucial for potential applicants to consider. Our review found that while the experience gained is beneficial, the absence of benefits typically associated with permanent roles can be a downside. Anyone considering this role should weigh the demands of the job against their personal circumstances and long-term career goals.
