Expert Review
This role at Amazon involves selecting and packing customer orders in a busy fulfillment center. The starting pay of $17-$23/hr is competitive, especially for entry-level positions. However, the job is physically demanding, requiring employees to be on their feet for long periods, which might not suit everyone.
Amazon's work environment is team-oriented, which can be beneficial for those who enjoy collaboration. The use of handheld scanners helps streamline the order fulfillment process, but it may also lead to repetitive motions that can be tiring.
While the pay is attractive, potential candidates should also consider the demanding nature of the job. According to Amazon's page, employees need to be prepared for a fast-paced work environment that can be both rewarding and challenging.
Overall, this position is ideal for individuals seeking a stable job in logistics, but it may not be the best fit for those looking for less physically taxing work. If you're considering applying, ensure you are ready for the physical demands of the role.
